Verolex Contributor Policy

The Verolex Contributor Policy defines eligibility, responsibilities, and governance for Development Associates and Development Partners who submit context, data, or analytical material for inclusion in the Verolex legal-employment ecosystem.

Effective: January 2025 • Last Updated: April 5, 2026

1. Eligibility

Contributors must hold an active legal license, a verified recruiting credential, or a comparable professional role in legal operations, academia, or talent development.

Eligible members may participate through the Contributor Program as a Development Associate or Development Partner.

Trial and Guest accounts are read-only. Contribution permissions begin only after approved membership.

2. Submission Standards

  • All submissions must be redacted of identifying information, including client names, personal data, or privileged material.
  • Each submission must include a Value Statement outlining the contributor’s perspective, relevance, and any limitations of the insight provided.
  • Contributions should identify scope, including jurisdiction, entity type, firm size, or practice-area relevance where applicable.
  • Verolex editors may request clarification or revision to maintain factual accuracy, neutrality, and scope alignment.

3. Review and Evaluation

Every submission is reviewed by qualified Verolex editors or Partner-level contributors before inclusion in VCV or VVC systems.

Review considers:

  • accuracy
  • neutrality
  • practical utility
  • defined limits

Approved submissions receive a version identifier and an entry in the Contributor Ledger.

4. Licensing and Rights

By submitting material, contributors grant Verolex a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-eligible license to store, reference, and cite their submissions within Verolex systems and products.

Contributors retain ownership of their original work and may republish or reuse it elsewhere.

Verolex uses contributions through retrieval-based citation. Where module origin is surfaced in VCV or VVC use, attribution should remain transparent to the extent supported by the system and context.

5. Recognition and Payout Structure

Contributor activity is recorded in the internal Contributor Ledger for visibility and metrics.

Quarterly recognition credits are calculated from system-usage data, including how often and in what context a contributor’s material is retrieved.

Payouts are issued when credits exceed published thresholds. Smaller credits roll forward.

6. Ethics and Compliance

  • Contributors must comply with all professional-conduct and confidentiality rules applicable to their jurisdiction.
  • Submissions may not include or imply discriminatory, political, or proprietary information.
  • Verolex reserves the right to withhold, revise, or remove material that violates neutrality, bias, privacy, or confidentiality standards.

7. Revocation and Termination

Contributor status may be suspended or terminated for misrepresentation, plagiarism, or breach of confidentiality.

Superseded materials are archived with version and author metadata. Contributors are notified when edits, retirements, or removals occur where notification is practicable.

8. Governance and Revisions

This policy is maintained by Verolex Administration under review by the Editorial and Compliance Committee.

Revisions are logged and published with version notes on this page.
