What “across visits” and “across VCs” means
Across visits means within your Verolex account after you consent to persistent memory.
Across Virtual Communicators (VCs) means only among VCs governed by the same VSS memory scope for your account. Persistent memory is not public, not cross-user, and not automatically shared with unrelated tools.
If you are not logged in, Verolex limits what it will retain. VSS may ask you to continue in a secure, signed-in context before you share sensitive details.
Your controls: Pause / Forget / Delete
You control what the system remembers across sessions, including preferences, goals, and uploaded documents, and what it forgets.
- Pause: temporarily remove an item from active AI use.
- Forget: detach an item from AI memory without implying continued recall.
- Delete: permanently remove the record where supported by the tool and your access.
Tools still work when memory is off. The difference is continuity across visits.
