Publication Setup & Configuration
Publication Setup & Configuration is the first paid operating step after Orientation. It applies the Verolex operating model to the publication’s editorial context, contributor materials, audience, privacy expectations, access level, and service pathway.
Setup does not authorize publication, contributor disclosure, editorial release, outreach, result presentation, or reuse of publication-side materials. Those actions remain subject to separate verification, consent, editorial approval, and authorization controls.
What Setup Establishes
- Publication identity, administrative contact, and authorized use context
- Editorial purpose, audience, contributor pathway, and review expectations
- Privacy and consent expectations for contributors, sources, submissions, and editorial records
- Workspace preparation for publication-level Verolex services
- Record structure for articles, briefings, submissions, source materials, and editorial review
- Initial configuration for VCV, File, Verify, Authorization, Result, and eligible VVC use
Purpose of Setup
Setup protects the integrity of the publication workspace before active Verolex services begin. It helps ensure that editorial, contributor, and source-related uses are structured with appropriate record boundaries, review standards, consent controls, and authorization requirements.
Completion Requirements
- Completion of the Publication Setup & Configuration form
- Confirmation of publication contact, editorial objective, and audience context
- Identification of article, briefing, contributor, source-review, or editorial-support use case
- Confirmation of privacy, consent, access, and editorial-record expectations
- Optional upload of editorial materials, contributor records, source documents, or publication guidelines
- Configuration of the applicable publication workspace and service pathway
Access After Setup
After Setup is submitted and reviewed, publication-level services may proceed under the applicable Verolex access, TimePass, TokenPass, editorial, or service pathway rules. Contributor, file-based, verification, and result functions may remain inactive until the required configuration steps are complete.
Setup establishes publication context. Verification tests the record. Authorization remains separate.
By continuing, you acknowledge that Publication Setup & Configuration is used to establish the operating context for
publication-level Verolex services. Information submitted during setup may be retained for service administration,
security, continuity, audit, support, and future eligibility review, subject to applicable Verolex policies.
