Verolex™ Market Governance

Market Signal Classification Policy

How Verolex distinguishes public market context, participant market signal, verified market records, and authorized market action.

Governing Principle

Verolex does not treat all market information as equal. Each market signal is classified by source, participation status, verification level, privacy status, and authorization before it may be used for planning, alignment review, referral consideration, outreach, publication, or external action.

Public market information may provide context. Verolex participant activity may create governed signal. Verified records may support stronger intelligence. External action requires separate authorization.

Core Distinction

The public market is not the Verolex market. The Verolex market is formed by approved participants, declared interests, role classifications, records, workflows, verification activity, and authorized use inside the Verolex environment.

Market Intelligence Layers

1. Public Market Layer

Public market information includes publicly available job postings, firm websites, employer announcements, practice descriptions, office locations, rankings, reports, publications, legal-market activity, and other external information available outside Verolex.

Function: context. Public market information may help frame questions and planning, but it does not prove Verolex demand, participant readiness, employer interest, or authorization.

2. Verolex Community / Participant Market Layer

The Verolex participant market includes attorneys, employers, recruiters, law schools, associations, publications, and other approved participants who create records, complete orientation, declare market interest, submit position or résumé information, or participate in governed Verolex workflows.

Function: governed participation signal. This layer is not the public market. It reflects declared interest, structured activity, role classification, and authorization status inside Verolex.

3. Verolex Activity Signal Layer

Activity signal includes Market Option selections, search behavior, profile development, candidate records, position records, QRecruit activity, referral review, alignment requests, and structured workflow engagement.

Function: internal market signal. Activity may show interest or emerging alignment, but it is not automatically complete, representative, verified, or actionable.

4. Verified Market Record Layer

A verified market record includes information that has been reviewed, classified, supported by submitted records, confirmed by an authorized participant, or tied to a governed Verolex workflow.

Function: governed intelligence. Verified records may support stronger planning, internal recommendations, alignment analysis, and readiness review, but they do not authorize external action by themselves.

5. Authorized Market Action Layer

Authorized market action includes approved referrals, employer-facing submissions, candidate introductions, outreach, publication, market representation, or institutional reporting.

Function: controlled external action. No public market context, participant interest, activity signal, or verified record becomes external action without authorization.

Market Option Rule

A Market Option is a governed expression of interest. It allows a participant to identify a location, practice area, employer category, institutional environment, or professional market without converting that interest into an application, referral, outreach campaign, or representation claim.

Market Options help Verolex compare public market context, participant records, platform signal, verification status, and authorization status before any stronger conclusion or action is considered.

Prohibited Overstatements

Unless supported by verified records and authorization, Verolex should not describe market signal as:

  • confirmed employer demand;
  • guaranteed opportunity;
  • hidden market access;
  • verified hiring intent;
  • participant readiness;
  • approved referral status;
  • authorized representation; or
  • complete market intelligence.

Operating Doctrine

Interest is not readiness.

Readiness is not authorization.

Market visibility is not outreach.

Referral potential requires alignment.

External action requires authorization.

Policy Summary

Verolex distinguishes the public market from the Verolex participant market. Public information provides context; participant records create governed market signal; verified records may support market intelligence; and only authorized workflows permit external action.
